DPAC is hosting a kids’ summer camp this week and next from 8 am-1 pm. Each day incorporates art, music, theater, crafts, dance, and guest speakers. On Monday, we had Dianna Porter from Lake Watch of Lake Martin come to teach us all about water and pollution. Tuesday was Hellen Sturdivant taught the kids how toys were made from wood and things you could easily find at home. We want to Thank the local business who are feeding our campers hot lunch during camp this week and next, Azteca Mexican Grill, Jack’s, Mama T’s, and Miller on Broadnax we appreciate you all so much.
